MAT Editorial Structure
The MAT editorial team consists of:
- Editorial Collective: A team of academic editors from the Edinburgh Centre for Medical Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh provide overall leadership of the MAT project, take a hands-on editorial role for a proportion of article submissions, contribute reviews, attend monthly editorial meetings, and promote the journal through their academic networks.
- Section Editors: Section editors provide editorial leadership and oversight of the review process for each of the journal’s sub-sections (Position Pieces, Field Notes, Reviews, Photo Essays).
- Editorial Staff: Our managing editor and copyeditor, both employed at the University of Edinburgh, provide professional administrative support to the journal.
- International Advisory Board: Our esteemed international advisory board provides guidance to the journal editors on the development of the journal identity and vision and the achievement of project goals.
