Funding and Support

Funding and support

MAT is a fully open access journal. We neither charge subscription fees to our readers nor article processing charges to our authors. We depend on institutional funding and support, in addition to the valuable contributions of our authors and reviewers, to publish the journal. We are grateful to the following institutions and individuals for making the MAT open access project possible.

The University of Edinburgh Journal Hosting Service

DiaDev project (European Research Council Starting Grant no. 715450, PI Alice Street)

TER project (European Resarch Council Starting Grant no. 947872, PI Lukas Engelmann)

The School of Social and Political Science (University of Edinburgh)

Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Universiteit van Amsterdam)

UvA Diamond Open Access Fund (University Library, Universiteit van Amsterdam)

In addition, we are grateful to the following people for their generous contribution of knowledge, effort and expertise, without which the MAT project would not be possible:

Theo Andrew and Rebecca Wojturska (Edinburgh Diamond) for their support and vision

Greig Christie (Edinburgh Diamond) for going beyond the call of duty to get MAT’s OJS platform up and running (University of Edinburgh Journal Hosting Service)

Jamie Cross (School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh) for his superior graphic design skills

Joel Galvez for a huge effort to get MAT’s back archives migrated to the new site

Clare de Mowbray (School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh) for design advice and Jamie Smith (School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh) for technical support
